Dehorning Paste (100 Gram) Bottle

Information about the Dehorning Paste: 

• Usage: Can be used to dehorn 150-200 calves.
• Storage: Can be stored for up to 1.5 years.
• How to Dehorn (using the paste):
  • For young calves (horn button just felt, under 2 week old):
    • Clip hair over the horn button and surrounding area.
    • Apply a thin, even film of paste over the horn button and a small ring of adjacent skin (about the size of a five-cent coin or 20 mm).
    • Apply once only using a wood applicator.
  • For calves over seven days old:
    • Apply the paste to a larger area (about the size of a quarter or 25 mm).
    • Apply paste once only using a wood applicator.

Available in 2.5 gram pack and 100 gram bottle

Note:

To properly dehorn calves, use 0.01 ml of Xylazine injection intramuscularly (IM) to keep the animals calm for 30-40 minutes. Please consult a veterinarian for guidance on this method.
